ORB

ORBs are a species of large spherical sapient aliens, bearing resemblance to Isopods. they are native to the swamps, grasslands and deserts of Viséan-Asselia. They are a hardy and very friendly species, who have formed a close bond with both of the other sapient species on their planet, the Myrmecosapients and Temnospondyloids.

Outwardly an ORB looks to be nothing more than an uneven sphere composed of thirteen chitinous plates, but they possess 26 tentacle like arms, each with about fifty feather-like fingers that they can retract and extend at will.
