The Obilehem Intelligence (1 Billion BC - present), or more poetically called The Lord from Metal is multi star system spanning artifical intelligence constructed by the Ancient Builders, that colonized the star that would later be known as Obilehem inside of the Algor Cluster. Whilst the builders that made them has long since been forgotten by the march of time, the Obilehem Intelligence still live to this day, still trying to find a solution to enigmatic Task At Hands for a race long-long dead.
They were incredibly reclusive and refuses to communicate to any of the Ervo Sector Powers that are now their neighbor, not even the simplest explanations to their own existence. This applies to the political stage as well, as they rarely interviene in the wider galactic stage. However, in those rare times they decided to interviene, those moments prove to be utterly pivotal to the local civilations around them, whether in protecting and guiding the Kesstra Exodus Fleet(s) to the adopted homeworld of Riojan, or giving information to the FSS Erlebar about the inner workings of a Firering Station, that would later prove to be critical in the War of The Broken Bow.
History
1 billion years ago, the Ancient Builders dissambled a random red dwarf's star system and constructed a Matryoshka Brain in its stead. Then, they created and installed an artificial intelligence to find a solution to something that would later be known as The Task At Hands.
However, soon after its construction, the Ancient Builders were forced on the defensive by the Qomarat Empire and left the Algor Cluster. The Qomarat Empire attempted to disassemble or reprogram the Obilehem Intelligence, however the arrival of the Losekran Morphogenic Virus's pandemic quickly put a halt in that plan, as the outer empire completely collapsed.
The Obilehem Intelligence continued doing their own thing, occationally interviening in local affairs and constructing megastructures on neigboring star systems of the Algor Cluster until a decent chunk of the Algor Cluster was fully covered in megastructures. Around 100,000 years ago, the Obilehem Intelligence began ramping its industry for a purpose unknown at the time. By the time that the Vernarcan Federation began existing, nearly all of the stars, including Treumux and Veldor, in the Algor Cluster are covered by massive starlifting arrays, dyson swarms, hundereds of fleets of warships, enough Firering Stations to destroy a star, and many other things, all underneath the control of the Obilehem Intelligence.
Soon, the purpose of all of that construction becomes clear, as in the War of The Broken Bow, the Obilehem Intelligence plays a vital role in the defence of the Ervo Sector. The Voidspears finally found a match in sheer firepower and durability in the form of the Firering Stations, halting the seemingly inexorable march before. Even if a Firering wasn't available, it had their fleets, which would drown any Void offensive with enough lasers, projectiles, and electron beams to rival that of a red dwarf. Whilst the void wasn't killed by the Obilehem Intelligence, they bought much precious time for Su'uni Ash Nikal and his ragtag fleet to engage in the Battle of The Colony.
