Onima is a planet orbiting the star Apep. It was the homeworld of the long extinct Lo-Mi species and is currently home to the Onimans

Sapient Races

Originally Onima was home to the Lo-Mi a species with very little information known. Of the things that are known, Lo-Mi were bipedal, horned reptiles presumably similar to the Saurians of Earth. They were extremely technologically advanced, but went extinct about 9 million years ago.

Currently the planet is populated by the Onimans, vaguely canine creatures who evolved from the domesticated livestock and pets of the Lo-Mi.

Wildlife

Anchiornid - a common avian found throughout many cities. They are also eaten, and apparently taste very good.
Magma Wyrm - normally found in the mantle, Magma Wyrms have found a suitable habitat in the forming continent of Therria. They feed on the numerous Volcano Leeches driven to the surface, where they themselves become trapped.

Onima is the return location for the variety of Open Space Machine-Lifeforms across the planet found across the galaxy. They come to Onima to deposit what they have collected on their journeys and to 'breed'.
