Orasaik (Or) is the 160th element of the periodic table, named from Xeno roots "dense" and the suffix -ik, usually denoting a material. Orasaik is in the island of stability around Element 112 (formerly known as Copernicium), so it is one of the first stable elements since Hafnium.
Orasaik was stumbled upon during the War of the Ancients, when a research project undertaken by Lowzyol found a few stable atoms of this element. Soon after this a macroscopic amount of Or was produced and orasaik was kept a secret until the end of the war.
Applications
Although orasaik is not explosive or radioactive, it is extremely dense. Combined with the ease of production compared to osmium which has to be mined, this property means that orasaik is incredibly useful as railgun ammunition. Orasaik-made railgun ammunition has been deployed on the battlefield during the War of the Ancients, though the orasaik was mixed with an antimatter container.
