Overview

The Outer Planets Alliance is a conglomorate of various Outer Planet states located mainly around Neptune and Uranus. They are a lose confederation of various corporatocracies and other governements.

The Outer Planets alliance would be created in 2247 after many corporatocracies, megacorporations and members of the Old United Nations would flee to the Outer Solar System to maintain their hedgemonies. This expansion would be centred around the hotly contested Triton.

The OPA would absorb any previous settlements on Triton, attempted to erase the "Neptunian identity."

The OPA is known to have nuclear weapons and are under sanctions by most major Solar System powers.

History

Conceptualisation - 2247

The OPA would be created after Triton Coup, when a circle of 9 corporations and a new collaboration government proclaiming "A outer planets alliance."

The Alliance would quickly grow as members based in Uranus and other moons of neptune would grow.

The Assembly would relabel their nationality to "Voidborn" as to continue to eliminate previous cultures from their lexica. "Voidborn" is not to be confused with "belter" or anyone born in space.

The Assembly has commisioned alot of shady and secret technological projects - noone knows what they are doing.

Dissent is growing as people find out about their ancestry as the pioneers of the Outer Solar System - Decentralism is slowly making a comeback here as the Triton Government in Exile is increasingly pushing for legitimacy.

They renamed everything they owned - working on said new names.
