Peridexion Tree

The Peridexion Tree is a fruit-bearing tree is native to India’s Western Ghats.

Ecology

Toxic to dragons, but its fruit are frequently eaten by birds and bats. It is also safe for humans to consume, having a sweet flesh and spicy scent.

Human Uses

Dragon-slayers of old would eat lots of these fruits so if they were to be killed and eaten by the dragon they were fighting the toxins in their stomachs would poison the beast afterwards. In modern day Peridexion Fruits are traded on the blackmarket, particularly through CryptoZoo Traders Global, many including Jonathan Qu and Cipher Ambrose have tried using these fruits in either liquid or aerosolized form, in order to kill or capture Theid Theron, as unlike garlic or onion, the Peridexion fruit does not lose its toxicity when diluted and is not as harmful to humans when exposed.

The Peridexion Tree has become very rare in modern day, due to deforestation and collection by black market dealers, as such the tree is considered Endangered.
