Purraalaaw
The Phelcombura were an ancient late embryonic of aquatic serpent species native to Purraalaaw, second major moon of Phellnellaaw in the Mid Arm of the Ambrosia Galaxy that existed from 2,434,570,200 BCE to 604,000,000 BCE.
Overview
The Phelcombura, while not having much historical prominence during their existence, would later become extremely important to the Ugnara, the species that would arise from within Purraalaaw's sister-world of Urgutu. The reason for this would be that upon the aforementioned species' discovery of the Phelcombura, along with their ancient ruins, they would unlock the secret to interstellar travel, catapulting them to the cosmic age. Without the Phelcombura, the Ugnara may have never advanced to this age at all.
Originally, they only existed in small hive-colonies across their home world's global ocean, however once the Etymology found their home world and subsequently discovered the Phelcombura were intelligent, they would be given access to the amazing technologies of the aforementioned intragalatic empire.
The Phelcombura were one of the most loyal Etymology-member species one can point to, asides from the ten founding members, as they provided the Phelcombura with near infinite living space, resources, and technological wonders.
Unfortunately, like almost all who were apart of the Etymology, they would all be destroyed by the C.Y.R.E.X when it rebelled against its creators during the Red Galaxy Event in 604,000,000 BCE.
Their existence would be well known across the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems, since the Ugnara were a founding member of the government, with large Phelcombura fossils being a high commodity, as many use their bones to decorate their homes, a practice detested by some due to their evident former intelligence.
Physical
The Phelcombura most closely resembled many different types of phythonidae serpents native to planet Earth. However most resembled the Python Regius or "ball python" , though this could vary depending on the Phelcombura in question.
