Phorcys

Phorcys in a gas giant in a semi-binary orbit with Ceto, with which it shares three additional moons; Asudem, Stheno and Euryale. While the two bodies do not orbit each other in a truly binary sense, the large size of Ceto tugs on Phorcys as it orbits, causing the latter to wobble and sway as Ceto proceeds around it. While Stheno and Euryale are uninhabitable, Asudem is a moon teaming with life, likely in part to it orbiting far outside of the radiation belt of Phorcys.

Boths the Snuggorgonians and Hexacephaloids include Phorcys as a major figure in their religion. The Snuggorgonians see it as warrior in eternal battle with Ceto, its movements being seen as attacks made towards its smaller, more nimble adversary. Meanwhile, the Hexacephaloids see it as the feminine half of two lovers entwined in a mating dance, the gentle swaying of Phorcys in the sky being the supporting moves to Ceto's larger arcing twirls around it. These two interpretations have caused a rift between the races, creating a mutual distrust of one another.
