Poseidonis

Homeworld of the Pf-Wihu. It is 39% covered in water and 61% covered by land. The oceans are deep and cold, marked by many deep, trenches where a surprisingly rich variety of life thrives.

Geography

Poseidonis is notable for it's extreme tidal fluctuations, which compounded with the drastic terrain, means that during high tide thousands of miles of lowland coastline is flooded by cold, salty water, forming an ecosystem known as the brine plains, on account of the vast quantities of salt encrusting these areas.

Away from the coasts and brine plains, the remaining land area is vast, empty freezing deserts, whose harsh climate poses a significant challenge to any lifeform that dares to make a living there.
