Procyon (Spanish: Proción) is the most distant world settled by mankind, and the last one they ever visited. The first fleet to enter the system did so in 2294 CE, destined for Alpina, formerly Procyon B. Following them one year later was the main fleet arrived around Aquilegia, the bright star whose light had inspired myths throughout Earth's northern hemisphere. The inhabitants of Procyon came from multiple planets, bringing their diverse backgrounds and beliefs with them.

The fleets that got Humanity to this scorched star system were created for war. The United-Nations-built La Armada de Nuevo Colorado used atomic warheads to propel themselves, capturing the force of the blast in a large sail in front of each vessel. The Armada captured two spacecraft destined for Procyon, named Under the Moon and Over the Sky. These two craft, representing mostly African nations in the British Commonwealth, had no defenses against the warheads and obliged. The Armada continued to rule Procyon for centuries, building ever grander warheads using the abundant radioactive elements found in the young Procyon system. Their stockpiles would make the Earthen Cold War's greatest weapons look like fire crackers by comparison.

The end of the Armada, and Admiral Castor Bravo, began in 2364.
