Template:Infobox PlanetPumicarv ("pumiceus" or "pumice" + "arvum" or "field") is a moon of a larger, not yet researched planet. It orbits a star named Brimsoar A which is in Brimsoar Binary Star System. It is widely known as being a mining base for the Rampantaran empire and is inhabited by a variety of robots emulating wildlife. Quite a few expeditions by scientists from different civilizations have occured on Pumicarv Much of Pumicarv's surface is made from pumice-like igneous grain or slabs. The overall relief is generally uneven though some of the valleys are quite wide. The local robots seek out other kinds of valuable ores hidden everywhere on Pumicarv.
Exogeography
Being a moon, Pumicarv is tidally locked and it's temperature is kept at near constant 50 degrees, which is somewhat warm for a moon. The gravity is considerably weak which necessitate the robots to have features like heavier leverage and rocket boosters to avoid easily floating away. Pumicarv is smaller and possibly lighter than the Earth's moon. It's location in space is set to be near numerous asteroids, some of which might hit it in the future.
Litosphere
Pumicarv surface is largely pumice-like igneous rocks which have the porous surface to much. It is quite hard to locate darker color igneous rocks on Pumicarv, the majority being hidden underground. Pumicarv is peaceful, having little to none earthquakes and volcanic eruptions, but it's geological make-up sugests that those were more numerous and intense during the time when Pumicarv was just forming.
Pumicarv has it's fair share of craters, though many are small and the largest is located in north pole, located in the middle of a mountaintop. On Pumicarv valleys and grottos mix with hills and mountain ranges, the most sizable range is going almost along the equator.
Hydrosphere
Ensured via artificial intervention, since, occasionally, pools of grease-like substance can be found on Pumicarv which have possibly leaked out of some of the robots. It gets reused by decomposer and scavenger type robots, some of which have either been devised or rebuilt to largely have the purpose to seek out or protect these pools. Due to the planets surface physiology, some of the grease have drained somewhat deeper through the layer of cosmic pumice, though not far.
Civilization
Rampantarans having devised a system to monitor and take care things on Pumicarv are fairly lax about Pumicarv's situation and largely let the robotic populace operate somewhat indepently. Any updates are transmitted to the empire's more biologically active centres via motherships gone in stationary mode. Lots of Rampantaran buildings around here are somewhat flat and rectangular in shape, even though there is not extreme gravity around to necessitate such architecture.
Robosphere
Motherships stationed on Pumicarv are responsible for creating robots and accepting loot and information from them. The various robot "species" have been around here for quite some time. Things have gradually become more chaotic due to the fair share of robots exhibiting independent programming but overall a new system of interaction get established. Some of the robots wage wars against each other, though since the motherships can recognize which are the rebels between them, the rebellious factions are forced to repair, rebuild and update themselves on their own, often stealing parts from others to do so. Some of the robots can get afflicted by strange type of rust (deemed pumicarust) on Pumicarv and the aforementioned grease can somewhat lessen the effects of rust, making it valuable to those factions which are often plagued by pumicarust.
