Qid
The Qid are a sapient race native to Tethys 3
The Qid are able to freely rearrange their skeletons and flesh in order to take nearly any shape imaginable. The are also able to grow new appendages, limbs and bones. Some individuals can even grow new heads with entirely distinct thoughts, emotions and personalities! Some grow so wildly that they spread out over hundreds of feet and become sessile, incomprehensibly formless writhing forests of flesh (Though this is quite rare)
History
Qid appeared around 290,000 years before the present, though their evolutionary history is incredibly hard to track due to their amorphous nature.
Culture
Qid culture is hard to define as each individual is so radically different as well as the species being primarily solitary. It could be argued that each individual Qid is the only member of their own unique culture. But some common shared beliefs may be considered a wider Qid culture, emphasizing individuality, creativity and freedom.
Due to their intense focus on individuality the Qid species has not developed much in it’s nearly 300,000 year existence. Many have no technology and simply live as wild animals in nature or freeloading alongside the settlements of other species.

Like their culture, Qid Biology is so radically variable it is difficult to properly describe. It is known that Qid are genetically related to the Krigner and Grirrud
