Rexlor

Description

Rexlor is a relatively major colony in the Confederacy of Borealis, which resides in the Whirlpool Galaxy. Rexlor is primarily known for its involvement in the War of the Decamillenial Transition, as well as its native species, the Rexlorians. Rexlor is also known for its long history, filled to the brim with hatred and belligerence. Currently, Rexlor has been changed from its old pollutant ways into a vast green planet, with a proper rotation period of 32 hours. The slow introduction of seasons has also diversified plant life on the surface of Rexlor.

Formerly being a large military and defense planet, Rexlor was strip mined from every single last bit of its natural resources. As a result, the construction efforts on Rexlor rely entirely on the imports of raw and refined material. This has not stopped from huge cities bearing tens of millions of people each from forming, though.

In its old history, overwhelming amounts of pollutants were placed into Rexlor's atmosphere, killing off much of the flora and fauna. This has since been mostly undone, with much of the surface of Rexlor containing once-extinct native flora and fauna. Cities have also since been modified to be much more clean and efficient, with CUEN technology often scattered around rather populated areas.

History

Being formed billions of years ago, Rexlor has had plenty of time to form biological sapient life. Unlike many planets discovered, Rexlor has utilized silicon to make much of its fauna and flora, rather than the more commonly observed carbon. Of course, native sulphur-based and carbon-based lifeforms still exist on Rexlor, just in the form of bacteria.

Long after life was established, an intelligent species of silicon-based lifeform, named the Rexlorians, soon rose up and savagely took all land that they could see. Wave after wave of these predatory people would ruthlessly show their force and take what they could. The invention of energy manipulation and basic tools heightened this extremely, and the Rexlorian people spread across the planet ravenously and quickly.

After millennia of sheer Rexlorian dominance, cultivation of lifeforms in the form of cattle was found, including ways to farm for plants. Advanced forms of nutrition was also discovered around this time, all in all exploding the reach and population of the Rexlorians. The connected single continent of Rexlor also aided this expansion.

During the War of the Decamillenial Transition. Rexlor went under a large amount of changes. It gained a large defense system, including the construction of countless sky cities. The back of Rexlor was teeming with Rexlorians, able to withstand the endless cold due to their silicon-based bodies.
