Roger Blair

After being exposed to Primordial Ooze while on a field trip to the tide pools near his hometown of Orca Point, Oregon, Roger Blair was transformed from an nerdy highschooler into a mutant Triceratops.

Luckily after some training he learned how to regain human form for extended periods of time. And now with the help of his mysterious science teacher Joan Moynihan he joined a group of his four classmates, called the DinoSquad to fight against Victor Veloci’s DinoForce

Personality

Roger is extraordinarily intelligent, and creative as well, which serves him well when partaking in his hobbies such as coding, computer repair and building various gadgets, though he’s also somewhat of a socially awkward loner

He has quite the large ego and short temper, especially when it comes to failure. Said ego is usually what ends up driving him towards failure. He similarly dislikes receiving criticism towards himself or his inventions, viewing them as direct attacks on him rather than an attempt to help him improve, which also leads his inventions to fail.

History

Roger was born in Orca Point, and for most of his childhood he was relentlessly teased and bullied for being a ‘nerd’ or ‘geek’ as well as for his size. Leading him down his path of a socially awkward loner, as well as his dislike of criticism.

Though with his intelligence he quickly passed through the school system, skipping several grades in the process, which caught the attention of Visions Academy of Science and Technology, a prestigious school in Seattle, who were impressed by Roger’s inventions and test scores, and offered him a scholarship at the new school, to which a then 15 year old Roger graciously accepted. However life at Visions was not easy for Roger. The assignments were difficult and students nor faculty were as overwhelmingly positive and impressed by what Roger did, and they gave him plenty of criticism. Roger didn't take the criticism well and his grades soon began to dip, teachers were noticing that he was retreating inwards and not participating with groups or even socializing with students on off time.

Worried that he was too young to properly handle the workload, the faculty at Visions Academy proposed that Roger be sent back to normal school until he could graduate high school so he could properly develop his social skills but promised that once he did graduate he would receive his Visions Scholarship once again.

Despite Roger’s protests against it, his parents agreed and he was soon sent back to Orca Point High.

Mutation

While at the Orca Point Tidepools for a school field trip, Roger, along with the rest of his project group were exposed to Primordial Ooze by his science teacher Joan Moynihan.

And later that night he began to mutate.

The next morning he and his group from yesterday were called into Moynihan’s class after hours, were the science teacher explained the truth about her identity and how she wants them to help her rebel against her old enemy Victor Veloci

He begrudgingly accepts the position to fight against Victor and prevent him from wiping out humankind.  But currently stuck in his new dinosaur form he first had to learn how to return to his human form
