S’Sruuth
s’Sruuth is a planet covered by vast swathes of unbroken, pristine rainforest. The planet has no oceans, the largest body of standing surface water being no more than 15,000 sq. ft. Instead the planet’s moisture is found in the air and inside of the planet’s floral organisms. The planet’s high humidity means that the planet is drenched with heavy rainfall several times a day, and even when not raining heavy fogs, mists and clouds are ever present.

The unique water systems of this world mean that life has evolved independently many times as well as evolved to emerge onto land, 17 distinguishable kingdoms of multicellular life have emerged on s’Sruuth, the primary animal analogues on s’Sruuth being split up into about 160 different extant phyla, all but two of them having made the leap to being terrestrial as well.
Fog Crawlers are the apex predators of the Jungle Canopy, often hunting and devouring Drii’iith.
