Scope: Galvyria

Overview

Galvyria is the third universe in the Scope:Amaranth Succession project, and currently the last in the line of Succession, following Cosmoria. Galvyria is created and owned by SunlitSmoothie. Galvyria is a set of two galaxy-like realms in an infinite void, ruled by two fundamental forces connected by Amaranth. With a much looser set of physics and a fantastical cosmology, Galvyria takes on the more fantastical range of genres, from space fantasy to high fantasy.

Rules for Collaboration

Galvyria's main ruleset is bendable, depending on the narrative. The fundamentals of the cosmology are set in stone, including the magic systems and previously established mytho-history. As a narratively-built project, it is vital that important events are recorded in the timeline when added. All types of fantastical materials, locations, and creatures or people are within the realm of possibilities. The rule with adding these, however, is to find a way to integrate them into the wider setting, even if just its local region of it. This helps to make the universe feel more alive and interconnected.

Scale of power for individual characters never goes to the planet level, save for potentially Primordial characters. Many plot points and major events are at a scale far beyond the typical level most characters can act at, made that way to shape the setting itself or to signify a wider change in the story. Usually justified by convergences of large numbers of factors or predestined events set in place by Amaranth-Azurade, though this is open to collaboration. However, we ask that any extreme-scale events be discussed with any other Galvyria contributors beforehand.

Galvyria's story is structured into Acts, ordered numerically by their date of creation and delineated with roman numerals. Acts I, II, and III all connect to one another, but it is not required that future Acts do so. These Acts currently follow a consistent set of characters and their lives, which is recommended for future collaborators but not required. They could be centered around governments, specific locations, or even an object. If a potential collaborator wishes to write about an isolated incident or event, those can be accommodated as well with an Actless event format. It is recommended that collaborators consider any potential Acts they may create, and to discuss ideas with others before committing to the page.

Interaction With Other Scopes

Galvyria was born from the void left behind from Cosmoria and takes inspiration and concepts from both it and the universe before that, Imagindarium's Creation. Interaction with other scopes is possible, so talk lets talk about it if you want!
