War of the Rotten is a work of apocalyptic fiction written by Lupe1512. It explores the outbreak of yellow lung, a zombie plague caused by an extraterrestrial slime mold, during World War II. In less than a decade, its unique properties overwhelm a large part of the globe, killing millions and collapsing the most powerful governments of the time.
Core Principles
- Contribution: In order to be canon, all content in War of the Rotten must be authored by Lupe. Other users are allowed to edit pages so long as they do not change any in-universe information.
- Tone: War of the Rotten will explore the grittiness of war and disease, two ailments made significantly worse when combined. As such, it is not recommended for users below the age of 16.
- Historicality: Culture and technology will match those which existed during World War II.
- Media: Artworks, real-world photographs, videogame models, and possibly more will be used to portray the contents of War of the Rotten. In accordance with website policies, copyright violations will be avoided.
