The Shrouded Rangers are a secretive research agency based out of the West Superior Governate in what used to be eastern Minnesota. They were founded by a zoologist named Luna Cress at some point post-apocalypse.
History
The Shrouded Rangers organization was originally founded by Luna Cress, a zoologist who wished to study the strange animals that appeared during the apocalypse. It was created with the permission of the government of the West Superior Provisional Authority, which later reformed into the West Superior Governate. Since then, the range of duties the rangers perform as shifted slightly under orders from The Governor, who wanted them to also keep tabs on the settlements in the Feral Regions in addition to their usual zoological research.
Structure
The Shrouded Rangers is a highly secretive organization, though it did not start out that way. In the present, Rangers wear black armored suits, and masks that hide their face and distort their voice to conceal their identities. The organization is structured similarly to a paramilitary force.
