Skana (RS 8409-1353-8-11900247-719 3 in 0.9.7.4 beta patch 5) is a warm E-Class planet found 635 light years from Earth.

Overview

Skana orbits a red dwarf star at a distance of 9.7 million kilometers, giving it an orbital period of 15.7 days. At the distance to a red dwarf, it makes the planet tidally locked, giving it day and night sides. 

It is the homeworld of the Skatex, a mid-Type II civilization, colonizing solar systems up to 150 light years away.

Skana is a world teeming with life, even in the most harshest conditons. Although there is more land than ocean, most of the life on the planet is actually found in the ocean.
