The Sky Shore is a Cluster Gyre that orbits the Sky River. It was formed by a collection of galaxies that were attracted to the Thalweg via the Confluence. It is one of three major celestial bodies in orbit around the Sky River, the other two being the Twins of Time.

Compared to the Sky River, the Sky Shore is a far smaller Cluster Gyre, and is composed of a far smaller number of galaxies. A minimum of thirteen have been documented, with evidence suggesting that at many as nineteen galaxies make up the overall composition. It is thought that the unaccounted for six were subject to galactic merging events as they travelled through the Voidsea, and made their way towards the Thalweg.

Instead of being pulled to become part of the Sky River, the Sky Shore settled into what all computer and mathematic equations suggest is a near-perfect orbit - This is not observable, however, as the sheer size and distance between the two Cluster Gyres means that it may take upwards of 700 Million standard years to complete one single orbit. This orbit is not equatorial - It is instead vertical. It is currently at a high latitude, meaning those in the northern hemisphere of their Void Islands can often see the Sky Shore when in darkness.

The Sky shore is connected to the Sky River in ways other than being it's satellite - A significant number of wormholes that connect both the Cluster Gyres together have been uncovered. At least 137 have been documented connecting the two. These are major choke-points for any Faction that can both find one, and hold it, as they can then be used to launch invasions both in the Sky Shore, and on unsuspecting locations within the Sky River.
