Hope Guides Change - The Words of Soulhope

Of the two primary governing Solar Systems of the Cosmic Union, only one Void Island can truly be considered the absolute Capital of the entire Faction. That honour goes to Soulhope - It is the seat of power, democratic assembly, and policy that acts on behalf of the entirety of the Union.

A Gas Giant with one habitable moon, it was partly selected as the newly forming Union as a neutral ground, that granted few benefits to any one Realm or Kinde. The Parliamentary Rigs that are constructed along the equator were a joint venture, designed to foster unity and co-operation among the newly formed Factions disparate members.

Another part to why it was selected was it's nearest neighbour - It's nearest neighbour is the Hemmelig system, home to Seidrheim. As the Union formed, it was understood that Taekni would play a major role in the newly formed Sky River, and an understanding of it would be in the best interests of all members that wished to learn of it's potential. Soulhope's proximity to one of these Seidr Worlds was seen as immensely beneficial - It would be the first to learn of any new Arcane developments the world made, and was close enough to crush any problems that may arise, which appeased the anti-Arcane factions within the Union.

Not native to the Vetrarsaer, Soulhope was pulled towards the Thalweg during the Confluence, alongside it's entire solar system, before settling into a stable orbit.
