Kolzok III, a freezing planet orbiting the sub-brown dwarf Kolzok, is home to the Stardust Outpost, a privately owned scientific outpost by Imperial Science Academy. Despite the relatively small size, the Stardust Outpost is completely self-sufficient, producing its own food, water, and clean air. The Stardust Outposts has the capacity to accommodate a hundred individuals, yet it currently only houses twenty-seven researchers.
Operation Stellarium was small-scale colonization effort as part of Eoch Pruae, that resulted in the inhabitation of unique alien worlds, resulted in the establishment of the Stardust Outpost. The Stardust Outpost was built with a single goal in mind: to further understand the planet's subglacial ocean's repeating electromagnetic outbursts. These signals were assumed to be from an intelligent civilization, although no other civilization or life was found in the scans. The source of these signals remains unknown, and Nova Science Team has categorized them as a Type-J4 Anomaly.
Layout
While the Stardust Outpost's structure appears straightforward at first glance, it conceals a network of hallways and rooms underlying Kolzok III's icy crust. Only a few portions of this outpost are used for general habitation, and the most of it is used for either cultivating food, producing oxygen, or conducting research.

General Living Quarters
The general living quarters is the largest room of the below-ground section of the Stardust Outpost, measuring around fifty meters in length. It contains fifteen two-person bunk beds in it's corners, which can be retracted into the walls. Solar Farm
The solar farm of the Stardust Outpost is situated a hundred meters from the outpost itself. It contains nearly a hundred sophisticated sun-tracking solar panels, which generate thousands of kilowatts per day.
These solar panels possess automatic heating systems to protect against the frigid temperatures of Kolzok III, as their auto-tracking mechanisms are relatively fragile and not suited for extreme temperatures.
Planetary Position
The Stardust Outpost is situated in an area of Kolzok III known as Corminian Surroundings. This area is fairly flat compared to other regions of the planet, though it contains it's fair share of glaciers and mountainous areas. Most of this area is located approximately a hundred kilometers above the subglacial ocean on average.
