Overview
Stars, also known as "Suns," "Celestial Spheres," or "Astraian Objects," are a class of often immensely large celestial objects which are found all throughout the entirety of Ambrosia, to the point where they reach near universal ubiquity. Stars were originally created by the omnipotent Annuat during the final days of the Dawn Epoch, and were later made manifest after the end of the Great Age Typhonia; and subsequent end of the infinite Ambrosia.
The name "Star" comes from the root word for "shine" in the ancient Typhonian Tongue. And while later sapient races would refer to Stars in varying different epithets and titles, the eternal name of Stars has managed to carry over across the eras, even post galactic genocide events such as the Seraphnim's Finality, which had ended the Inomeni era of Dyad Rule, or the late Etymology's Red Galaxy Event. A fact made thanks to Remnant's "Law of First Principle", ensuring this original title would manage to infect the Collective Consciousness of the Mental Stratum, regardless of the respective state of being of those a part of it.
In the following 110,000 years after their creation, Stars have been made a permanent fixture of the galaxy for the majority of its existence, and likely its single most important force in its history, save Amaranth. And this is due to their inherent; almost sacred function in its immense level of necessity to the fulfillment of Imagindarium's Grand Design.
Stars are immense spheres of condensed Celestial Energy, a Source both originating from and uniquely designed for stars themselves. Each Star was individually designed by a respective Annuat, uniquely forging them by binding said Celestial Energy into a single mass and rounding it under the force of Gravity. This means that the exact amount of stars in the universe is a fixed number, and whilst the total number is largely of Undetermined extent, it at least measures in the hundreds of billions, if not trillions of individual stars.
Alongside being of Undetermined amount, Stars themselves are largely unaffected by the forces of time. As Chronology effects near everything in existence, Stars act as permanent fixtures of energy that is largely ever-present and as it was in the moment of their conception, save the burning interactions of its Celestial Energies upon its surface.
Stars serve as massive galactic shields for worlds of coherency to exist amongst the infinite-crushing weight of all-consuming, infinitely condensed Amaranth, that would otherwise cause their total eradication. To accomplish this, a unique Source is born from the interaction of Celestialite (Celestial Matter), a material that serves as the central core of all Stars; with that of the Celestial energy that surrounds said core. As the two aspects of Celestial interact, a large bubble is formed, creating the Source of Horizon, a Source capable of dispersing the condensation of Amaranth enough to allow entities and objects to exist separate from the state of pure Amaranth.
Stars are often the largest objects within the whole of Ambrosia, with even the smallest of Stars often dwarfing the largest of worlds across the universe. In addition, Stars have been used since the era of Dyad Rule as a method to map the known galaxy, forming the regions of the Realm of Resonance and the Endless Horizon, both regions having names in reference to inherent facets of Stars as a whole.
Properties
Structure

The physical makeup, structure, and composition of Stars varies depending on the individual Star's type, color, or size; however, several inherent traits are shared amongst all Stars. Predominantly; Stars all share a spherical form, similar to that of the worlds which orbit them, Additionally, most stars shine in an immensely bright light, due to being wholly made of Celestial; however, select types of Star either emit no visible light, or actively remove visible light within a given region of effect determined by its respective size.
Same with their physical structure, the internal dynamics of Stars are universally governed by the perpetual interactions between the Celestalite at their core, and the outward flow of Celestial Energy. Each Star acts as the universe's most massive and perfect reactor, as their function in existence is to serve as great Celestial engines or batteries for the worlds it subsequently protects and provides with energy.
Layout
Stars possess layered internal structural layouts that do not follow traditional Linneric thermodynamic hierarchy. Instead; Stars arranged by metaphysical density and harmonic phase. Each layer exists in a state of synchronized energetic compression, calibrated to maintain the Star's function as both an energy source and an ontological stabilizer.
