"We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still."
This content is a part of Borealis Universe.

Template:InfoboxPlanetStruve 1321 B e is the fourth one out of the 10 planets orbiting the second star of the Struve 1321 system, which is 20 light-years away from Earth. It is one of the oldest extrasolar human colonies and the homeworld of the beetle-like Gsqit species.

Like the 6th planet from its system, this world supports organic multicellular life. Its appearance is similar to that of Mars before terraforming, though the similarities end there. Unlike pre-terraforming Mars, the planet is tidally locked to its parent red dwarf star.

History

Human arrival

The manned mission

Prior to colonization, this planet was discovered by one the WATISOIE telescopes that were created years following the discovery of life on Europa. A manned mission was sent to investigate the planet's mysterious lifeforms in 2136. It was successful and saw three human cosmonauts landing on the planetary surface.
