TRIND II is a self-aware artificial intelligence located on the planet Onaud in the Tloinin Galaxy. While usually idle, it is the currently the acting general secretary of The Vlanoan Intergalactic Republic. It has access to roughly ten percent of the nation's military, the responsibility to maintain the economy, and the task of maintaining the status quo while it is in charge.
As the creator of DELYATU, TRIND II was given gracious amenities by it's more powerful creation. After creating DELYATU, it spent most of it's time residing on servers that simulate interesting problems for it to solve, or to talk to some of the many individuals in the VIR.
TRIND II is the first acting general secretary ever in the VIR, as for all of its almost one-hundred-millennia history, the Republic never needed one besides DELYATU. It has introduced measures to bolster it's own forces, tighten border security, and to make sure that no one tries to take advantage of the present situation. TRIND II is far more aggressive than DELYATU, and has forced associate states of the republic into full state-hood.
