Tethys

Tethys is a Necrorex from Moshkho, who has been living with Zoroko Drozdov ever since rescuing him from a rampaging Were-Dragon. The two have since formed a close brotherly bond, who despite their profound respect for the other, constantly get on each other's nerves.

Physical Appearance

Tethys is mainly a burnt orange color, denoting him as a member of the Southern Subspecies. He has pale yellow back spines, and a turquoise/teal head crest, that becomes much brighter in the springtime. As a Necrorex he is naturally large and physically imposing, but his missing left eye and scars covering his body from a lifetime of vicious battles have given him an even more intimidating appearance than others of his species.

Personality

History

Tethys hatched in a communal nest on the Centralian Plains of Necrorex Island off the Western Coast of Moshkho. along with his siblings, cousins and other babies in his pack was raised by his mother and aunts, only getting a few meaningful interactions with his father who was often away hunting or mating with other female covens.

When he turned 8 years old Tethys left his mother and the nesting grounds, setting out on his own with two of his brothers to become predators of medium-sized game on the plains.

Powers

Necrorex Physiology
- Super Strength - Tethys is strong even amongst other Necrorexes. He was able to lift 9 tons and throw it 20 feet away.
- Prehensile Tongue - Tethys' tongue has eight tentacle-like protrustions that he is able to control. These tongues are covered in hooks and sharp barbs.
  - Kiss of Death - Tethys' signature technique, usually used as a finishing move against enemies. Tethys will pry apart his enemies jaws and shoot his tongues down their throat using his barbed tongue to tear up their digestive and respiratory systems. He with then proceed to regurgitate stomach acid down the throat to escape the wounds he makes in the esophagus and lungs causing devastating internal chemical burns
- Teeth and Jaws - Tethys has a bite force of around 3.5 metric tons, as well as two rows of sharp flesh-tearing teeth. His jaws are also tipped with a small, but sharp and hooked beak.
