Thylacanthrope
Thylacanthropes, also known as Marsupial Humans and sometimes referred to as 'Elves', are a species of sapient marsupial that evolved in Beringia during the last Ice Age.
History
Thylacanthropes evolved from carnivorous South American marsupials about 800,000 years ago. They then migrated across North America before settling in Beringia, before sea levels rose and isolated the islands of Moshkho and Weepria from the rest of the world.

Appearance and Biology
Thylacanthropes have a pair of long, stabbing teeth on their lower jaw, that their ancestors had used to kill prey, though now the species relies mostly on tool use for killing and the teeth have shrunken. Like all marsupials Thylacanthropes are born extremely premature and will crawl up their mother's belly until reaching her pouch where it will begin drinking milk for the next several months.
