OVERVIEW
The planet Tsovinar, previously known by various names such as Atlantis, Hydros, or Archemiron, is a temperate oceanic world orbiting the Class II Neptune-like gas giant Marie. The debate over Tsovinar's name was resolved by neutral representatives of the United LunaTerra and Martian Technate and officially named by the Cetus Federal Republic. Tsovinar was not physically visited during the Distant Worlds Expedition but was extensively observed and charted from the surface of Emerald by Harrison Wells and Emilia Blossom, with additional logbook observations recorded by Mark Cooper. Tsovinar's average surface temperature is approximately 6°C (279.15 Kelvins), with an atmosphere dominated by water vapor, followed by nitrogen. Like Emerald, Tsovinar raises significant questions about its origins. Simulations do not support the possibility of naturally forming a habitable environment for humanity, suggesting that both planets may have been terraformed by an unknown civilization to accommodate human life. Tsovinar features several small continents on its surface, rich in simple bacterial organisms and seaweed, often thrown onto land by oceanic waves. The planet’s oceans exhibit a striking cyan hue, painting the entire planet in a mesmerizing blend of cyan and white, further accentuated by thick cloud coverage. From orbit, Tsovinar presents a stunning and unique sight.
Environment of Tsovinar
The Hethoria Volcano is a huge dormant underwater volcano approximately 15 x 18 km in size located on Herg Plateo, After the underwater volcano became dormant the top of the volcano was filled by sand and rocks, and in millions years, the once dangerous volcano became the center of a diverse and thriving ecosystem. The area is like a guyot, a type of underwater volcanic formation that was once above the surface and now eroded into a island below the sea level. The area around the volcano is known as the abyss, as its only inhabited by planktons and an unknown leviathan class species. In the volcano there are multiple ecological biomes, each having different fauna and flora, from green kelp forests to grassy plains underwater. Some of the fauna seems to be formerly infected by a parasitic genus, which matches Sahurian Parasites, once taking control of all of the fauna here. The waters here are safe to swim in majority areas, except certains biomes where large leviathans inhabit.
Far from The Hethoria Volcano, lies the abyss, the main ocean of the planet Tsovinar, you are not going to find any flora here, as the usual ocean depth here is 800 km, making it an especially difficult place to survive, the pressure down there would crush anything instatly, in the matter of miliseconds, some fish may live in the more shallow parts of the ocean like 1 km deep, or even deeper, the ocean contains lots of alien bacteria on the top though(10 to 1000 m deep), making it kind of liveable for some species that eat them.
