Overview

The UNN "Battlestar" (XX-34) is a Tulare-class [classification pending] built by the New United Nations in 2196 in preperation for the Second Lunar war. The Battlestar would serve for around 30 years before being retired. In its service life it would score an estimated 70 kills, though the official number is around 30.

The Battlestar would take its name from the science ficiton show "Battlestar Galactica" created during the 20th century. Named by [Person] supposedly due to his grandfathers love for the show. The Battlestar is one of the first Tulare-class [class] to be put into production.

Construction

The UNN "Battlestar" was on Earth in Brussels, Belgium before being assembled and welded in low Earth orbit. Being officially completed on X/X/2196, sponsored by XXXXXX XXXXX, with crew XX the "XXXXX" being assigned to the ship.

The Battlestar would be fitted with 7 Nuclear-Electric "XXXXX" engines with 35 degrees of gimbal, 8 30mm autocannons, 127 VLS/KKV pods and 12 additional .50cal point-defence turrets which could fire a total of XX,XXXkg. The Battlestar would late be fitted with a ECM pod and radar jammers.
