Celestalite
Overview
Celestalite, also known as "Star-Metal" and "Celestial Matter," is a unique and exceptionally powerful metallic substance found exclusively within the cores of all Stars across the Ambrosia Galaxy. Celestalite forms through the condensation of Celestial, the primordial Source substance from which all stars are composed. When sufficient mass accumulates at the stellar core, the immense pressure and density cause the Celestial to solidify into a metallic state, resulting in the formation of the Celestalite Core at the center of every star.
Celestalite is the single strongest metal in all of Creation. Despite its universal prominence, Celestalite remains rarely utilized across the galaxy in any era due to the extraordinary requirements for its extraction and refinement. The process demands either unparalleled power or advanced mechanical engineering beyond the capabilities of most civilizations.
Instances of Celestalite usage are historically rare and typically limited to figures of immense power or historical significance. Among the most notable are the Inomeni of Isariel, particularly their all-mighty Godqueen Juno, who is documented as having wielded the metal to great effect. Another key example is Mystara, one of the Ten Supreme Authorities of the Etymology of All-Being. Mystara’s use of Celestalite is considered the most massive, having employed the material in the construction of Póli Ton Theón, her eternal seat of power throughout the Etymology Era.
However: The most galactically prominent use of Celestalite is found in its extensive application by the Ragnalith warriors of the Dark Empire. Possessing a near-inherent command over the Source of Darkness, the Ragnalith were capable of effortlessly extracting Celestalite from the cores of stars. This allowed them to forge armor for their elite warriors, rendering any fortunate enough to dawn a set of Ragnalith Armor nearly indestructible to all forms of conventional mortal harm.
Vade
Vade
Overview
The Vade, known to themselves as the "Children of Phenomoth," were the final Inomeni race to arise within the Amaranth Realm of AmbrosiaCrafted in 39,000 TI (Time Immemorial), in the final millennia of Ambrosia's Etymology Era; there were forged upon the Edoasteri of Alizarent; they were the ultimate construct of the last of the Typhonians: Phenomoth. The Vade rank amongst the most powerful inherent beings to ever inhabit the whole of Creation, holding levels of Remnant magical potency which rivaled even that of the Typhonians themselves.
Phenomoth, the Supreme Authority of the Etymology of All-Being, was more a mass than a being; one which existed as the collective essence of the Remnant Typhonia, catalyzed into an Edomani form, and further forced into a collection of Remnant Spiritual residues of all Typhonia who had perished during the fateful era of the Great Age Typhonia. Phenomoth stood as the foremost among the Ten Supreme Authorities of the Etymology of All-Being; the paramount governing order of the Ambrosia Galaxy throughout the Etymology Era. As both architect and embodiment of Typhonian Remnancy, Phenomoth’s act of creation marked the culmination of Inomeni manifestation within Ambrosia.
Phenomoth’s authority was nearly absolute; however, it began to be challenged more and more by Mystara, another Supreme Authority, and member of the Inomeni Noctis-Umbra. Since the entry of her people into the Ambrosia Galaxy, Mystara had rapidly grown in personal power, alongside significant influence across known galactic space. Her rise created deep concern among the divine collective of the Authorities. The creation of the Vade was a direct result of this anxiety; that faithful destruction of all wrought by her hand which had been foreseen by Gladio-Mankano in the millennia prior.
Upon the rediscovery of the Fragments of Remembrance; residual artifacts of Ambrosian Magic, once utilized by the ancient Inomeni Isariel under the era of Dyad Rule, far before the fateful rise of the Etymology. The other Authorities, Phenomoth chief amont them, feared Mystara might harness these remnants to surpass or supplant them. In response; Phenomoth employed his Remnant creative essence to bring forth the Vade, intending them to serve as a counterbalance. Their genesis mirrored the methodologies of the living Typhonians, who had shaped the Thirteen Realms of Thavma through similar means.
However; the Vade proved to be far more powerful than anticipated. Their autonomous will and amplified capacity made them uncontrollable, and the threat they posed grew intolerable to Phenomoth. Specifically; what he had not realized they would do is as the personified form of the former Fragments of Creation, their Remnant form would inherently syphon off Phenomoth's own; as they were themselves inherently comprised of said Fragments. Ultimately; Phenomoth would make the decision to destroy them all, totally and utterly; less they grow too powerful and remove their form in its entirety. This act required the combined intervention of all Supreme Authorities, Mystara among them, though the latter would find ironic humor in the call for assistance; understanding full and well why they had been created: to stop her.
Wildroot
680 standard days
Overview
Wildroot is a small, desert planet of the Sundust System, situated on the far western frontier of the Lone Horizon, within the Realm of Resonance of the Ambrosia Galaxy. Formerly a member of the Havriel Alliance of Ambrosia, it is the ancestral home of the Rudyondi species and served as a center of hybrid cultural development between the indigenous Rudyondi and the immigrant Havriel populations. The planet maintained a distinct and unified cultural identity, despite its peripheral location and lack of association with any dominant interstellar power.
Throughout galactic history, Wildroot has held disproportionate significance due to its association with several historically pivotal figures. Most notably, it is the birthplace of Anna Novum, a Havriel woman born in late 1,200 AGY (Ambrosian Galactic Year), who would later be recognized as the Cold’s Chosen. Her influence on religious and sociopolitical developments across the Realm of Resonance rendered Wildroot a symbolic center for her followers.
In addition, Wildroot is intimately tied to the life of Isariel Mace Sappho, whose birth marks the beginning of the Ends Emergence calendar. Although not born on the planet, he spent his formative years entirely on Wildroot, shaping his early development and later actions as a historical figure of enduring legacy.
Another prominent figure linked to the planet is Verrence Haywood, a Noctivione-Rudyondi hybrid, member of the Typhonian Order, and a central leader within the Cold’s Chosen faith. His presence further cemented Wildroot’s reputation as a cradle of theological and ideological leadership.
Despite its modest scale and lack of strategic power, Wildroot remains a historically charged world, repeatedly emerging as a site of cultural, religious, and biographical importance across Ambrosian history.
