Overview

The Forever Ardent is a Serranic entity and state of being which exists as a living embodiment of the "Ardent Prophecy;" an ancient written foretelling of the universe's coming to an End heralded by Oblivion Mystara, known to itself as the "Ardent One." He exists as both a metaphysical abstraction and a physical manifestation of the Ardent Prophecy, which itself stands as an esoteric foretelling inscribed within the timeless fabric of creation. As such, the Forever Ardent's actions throughout his existence have all been in the furtherance of the Prophecy, however most often enacted in a fashion contrary to the actual fashion in which it will be made manifest within Creation.

The exact origin of his being can be debated on depending on the form in which we are speaking of: As the living embodiment of the concept of ardentry, the Forever Ardent can be argued to have existed as long as the notion of the Ardent has. However; his physical existence can be dated to the time in which he had taken form through One True Heir; Oblivion, after the latter's defat of, and subsequent merging with Animordred; Divine of Ambition and the Ardent in 3,000 YM.

Following Animordred's subtle influence over their now shared sprit, Oblivion would transform into the visage of the Forever Ardent in 3,006 YM. However; even the control of the very deity of the Ardent was unable to stop the encroaching entity of ambition, as the Forever Ardent became the dominant identity of the Amaranth Heir. As the animating force of this form, Animordred sought to end Haven in accordance to its original function, a second attempt at the obliteration it had failed to achieve in its former life. However this attempt would be undone by the mysterious Warrior Dawned in Green Red, whose immense strength single-handedly defeated the seemingly infinite power of the Forever Ardent.
