The Battle of Pandilla, called the Battle of the Fleets in Vangelia, was a major naval battle in the final stages of the High Covenant-Vangelia war. It saw three full-capacity fleets, each with 700 or more warships, face off across the Pandilla System during three days: the High Covenant’s 11th Fleet and the 3rd and 7th Vangelian fleets. They fought fiercely and suffered tremendous casualties, especially Vangelia, which lost all of its 3rd Fleet and could only save less than a third of what remained of the 7th. Despite such circumstances, Vangelia won the battle, its victory a turning point in the Helios Region campaign.
