Locations

Aeris

  • Originally settled by very few Ski'pec due to few "habitable" bodies (tidally locked, 127 day long solar cycle, .02 G moon)
  • Xherari frontier to it and use Avatar Raeyo's hab designs to mass-colonize (climate control and day/night control become much easier)
  • Xherari biiiiig population on Feshan, since gravity is biggest concern and it has almost exactly 1x Pherran's gravity
  • More mix population on Eenxham (Éénzam for slitarú spelling), big cultural center
    • definitely more technological challenges since you can't just have shutter shades blot out the sun when there IS no sun, have to make daylight yourself
  • the planet names make me want to sing! so i would like to do something with music thematically

Aurumios Laeschaude

  • come up with some reason the planets are named after pharaohs
  • Double Falcon was the first to be successfully "terraformed" and made safe for habitation
    • mix of aylathiyans and xherari, very cosmopolitan, biggest population
    • climate extremes from very vertical landmasses
  • Tjesh skews much more towards Aylathiya species, much drier and larger terra
    • sorta meant to mirror Indar with climate bands but less controlled
    • difficult to live on due to its weather and more heavy-metal-tainted soil
  • Weneg-Nebty skews towards Xherari population, lower G world with no oceans
    • Imported Pherranite life sustained by artificial and underground water
      • LOTS of biology practice from Phaexhos
    • transient rivers, ice caps at poles, imagine Mars if it had a thicker and better atmosphere
  • Nakhty-Re only inhabited planet in the Alkanic Belt
    • Ski'pec obviously
    • actually very good for them!

Axilarys

  • first actual interstellar destination by the Xherari
  • hypertryptine RICH, one of the biggest exporters in the galaxy
    • this is important because it kickstarts Aexan Charybdya
    • V1 Pecyuos used to explore
    • Hypertryptine-activated comets in Annwn's orbit in fact. blasted by solar radiation and glowing

Dexotrau

  • half exploded star you know the deal
  • hypertyrptine poor
  • Krior:
    • Carbon world in the Carbon Ring
    • got fuckin BLASTED by Dexotrau when it exploded
  • Stuff from the minecraft:
    • Krior should be a CARBONIA. it should be the CARBON PLANET
    • Rhemnor technically has more moons but ehhh i dont care
    • some other desert planet between Keriyal and Grakkal? Do I keep?
    • dwarf planets EVERYWHERE. should probably add a few
    • Alecisism prominent on Iosian moons (clearly), maybe make them influenced before full takeover of the system?
    • my art of dexotrau looks so ass compared to the star fuck fuckf cuk
    • Stations:
      • Aberrance Research station between Rhemnor and Mospyl's orbits
      • Logistics station between Rhemnor and Keriyal's orbits
      • City station orbiting beyond Keriyal
      • Industrial/city station orbiting between Keriyal and Grakkal's orbits
    • V2 Galcyuun used to explore

Elkandor

  • difficult difficult lemon difficult
  • EXTREMELY wet system. so much water per capita.
  • population used to be exclusively Xherari but now is mostly Aylathiyans due to higher Gs, and better G worlds being available elsewhere
  • Phaexhos is the Mars of Xherari worlds, Samfis also has a significant Xherari presence
  • very much a prize system for the Aurumios Terraforming Project, the horrible planets' oceans and atmospheres can be drained away and make dozens of new worlds open up, and once they're at reasonable pressures and temperatures and depths Elkandor can be awesome too!
  • very much an eternal frontiering system. always looking to help new frontiers around Aurumios Laeschaude because it helps their frontier at home expand

Estrebyss

  • everything that can be said has been said

Gwerddon

  • Oaliun singlehandedly makes up like 99% of the population oh my god
  • difficult, high G world, extremely strenuous on Xherari specifically but this was one of the worlds where they tried to adapt to that
    • "squat" Xherari with big buff limbs and braces and shit to not die from 2.4 Pherranite Gs
  • Hammurabi also good for Xherari pops, but Aylathiyans kind of dominate the system
  • Everything had a previous Eka-Xenadin name. always mention that

Hhassún

  • one of the dregs, but the main Ski'pec terraforming project before the FUCKERS got there
  • Rrotla and Rreikha are both challenging for different reasons, but are both inhabited widely
  • Rrotla was terraformed first, has biiig ol eyeball planet thing going on. Mare seas from old impacts before it got iced over and the tectonics shut down
    • tidally locked so they gotta implement their own day/night cycle, and population density is in bands
  • Rreikha has an 8 day long solar cycle, but it has one!
    • Not as much accessible landmass due to enormous subtropical ice caps
  • Generally a Ski'pec dominated exclave system, somewhat outcast due to Ski'pec not being Oh-Semashk's focus as a duchy (keeping Perdition and other Xherari in line)

Múkha

  • Another Ski'pec dominated system, but much less populous than Hhassún
  • Éikhopan is responsible for over 90% of the population, only habitable world there
    • tidally locked, actively tectonic, enormous storm on sunward side
    • barely even an afterthought in Aonticoros' governance, but Valkar is fair and gives them equal time to most of Promekea's bodies
  • the T dwarfs get to feel desolate. This is the last system actually properly settled and terraformed by the Ski'pec. Rredúl and Múkha were first with better prospects, and Aeris was very far from most other places and had low metal materials

Perdition

  • obviously the Xherari home system
  • maybe a couple thin asteroid belts
  • extremely low hypertryptine, almost all of it was absorbed by the star
    • Perdition has a very slight mint tinge from this, time dilation basically unnoticeable unless you are on its surface and then its only about 5 extra seconds per day
  • Frauden:
    • useless helium ass gas giant
    • hot
    • boooring
  • Entroph:
    • the big planet, the big kahuna
    • superterra with the Torratolys on it
    • Zodiac Isles
      • tiny tiny barrier archipelago
      • site of Entroph Study Base 1
      • Eventually consumed by Cryonic Shard
    • Rainbow mesa
      • totally forgot this one
      • no clue what it does
      • red/gold/grey aurora
    • Elevation / floating islands (Levilands
      • floating islands, extreme mountains
      • safe to be around
      • slate/grey aurora
      • notably not incompatible with other shards, eventually gets consumed by Pink or Red Forest
    • Sulphrous Swamp
      • not ONLY toxic, but radioactive
      • extreme ionization risk
      • requires shielding when not even inside it
      • wet, acid rain
      • lime/gold aurora
    • Cyclonic Desert
      • spiral dune patterns radiating from shard
      • desert subject to high winds
      • shard itself landed on the outskirts of a city
      • dessicant if shard itself gets wet, otherwise safe
      • pleasantly warm when not storming
      • makes wind chime noises
      • spiraling gold aurora
    • Tropical Glacier
      • Cryonic Shard struck ocean, instafroze it
      • special thermodynamically WRONG ice, colder than nitrogen ice and maintains its form
      • consumed large portion of equatorial sea, including Zodiac Isles
      • Deep blue aurora
    • Fungal Expanse
      • weird blotchy dull amaranth fungi
      • Biiiig shard, one of the major biomes
      • fungus produces "conduit shards", RED organic simulacra of the main shard, helps it spread
      • some protomolecule ass shit
      • contradicts SE depicting it as green...
      • grey aurora
    • Red Forest
      • big ol plant growth
      • Animals get bigger and more powerful too
      • Everything starts tinting itself red
      • very beautiful, very healing
      • objective "good" of the three Big Biomes
      • also makes you horny (especially getting near the shard)
      • red aurora
      • fungi grown deliberately under its influence possible aphrodisiacs??
    • Necrosis Shard
      • withers living things
      • Turns everything a sickly greige
      • horrible
      • near to Red Shard, feeds off its energy
      • bad
      • greige aurora
    • Pink Forest
      • EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL EVIL
      • turns everything pink
      • horrible megacancer
      • worst of the Big Biomes
      • terrible
      • singlehandedly the reason Entroph is considered uninhabitable
      • awful crackling pink aurora
    • Prismic Outgrowth
      • Cliffy oceanic isles, scotlandish
      • four total shards, condense light into LASER wavelengths and weave them into crystals
      • can burn you if you touch them, otherwise harmless
      • mint/cyan, indigo, and magenta aurora
      • hardlaser crystals degrade rapidly if broken or removed from ground
    • some population centers, but constantly warring biomes
    • potentially part agriworld from the fungal expanse?
  • Rish-Tiiva:
    • hot tidal moons, selenae only so long as they're not disturbed
    • please do not touch
  • Aulotum:
  • Pherran:
    • Gaess-Pherran
      • wizard tower lookin thing?
      • Blue, cyan, and violet are main governmental colors
      • terrain uplifted, arches, crystals, autumnal trees
      • big structure above main tower: probably interface with Singularity Complex
    • Sunflower Domes
      • Cuberr's residence pre-Torratolys
  • Mahuerran:
    • Pherran's submoon
    • mostly oceanic, several thousand islands
    • a bit smaller than Luna but tbh its chill
    • low-g, high tides
    • Mahuerranite Xherari probably have some Belter-like physiology
    • huge contrast between resorts (its a floaty Hawaii paradise moon. of course there's resorts) and local wilderness
      • corporations for construction love Mahuerran for resource assemblage, big contrast between them and the locals
    • lots of open-air designs for more native areas to keep climate controlled, official buildings spend much more trying to do it in closed environments
    • V3 Phaenix was built on Mahuerran
      • biiiig old shipyard from before even Cuberr's time. Low G means easier to build on but Mahuerran still had, you know, breathable atmosphere?
    • Cuberr's provisional home became a designated Avatar heirloom and a residence on Mahuerran designated to the Avatars of the Machine
    • Communication beacons to Pherran common
    • If you aren't building on stilts of some kind you are an idiot
    • landing pads either float on water or are accessed at low tide

Promekea

  • Big Big population center, but had its own life long beforehand
  • explored primarily by Xherari, generally too hot of a system for Ski'pec to care
  • Gladyrus now is the main population center, but has a decently even population mix
  • Not as many good-G worlds to explore as Axilarys, hypertryptine-middling
  • Moons are a big thing here

Rhen

  • yeah you get the deal
  • mostly Ryleiths, who could have guessed
  • Ski'pec frontier on Ekhnokastra, not really aided much by Pirithon
  • Slowest developing system on purpose to "not interfere with Ryleith civilization"
  • political dissidents? maybe a little. lots of places to hide and not many people who want to look

Rredúl

  • Heavily Ski'pec system, settled LONG before anyone else had anything going on, right after Unistus was "done"
  • Slautyr and Trrotím account for most of the population, but most of the worlds are low-enough G to affect physiology significantly
  • Slautyr only properly terraformed world and it was a botched job
  • Receives less attention from Enveil than Sperxai or Unistus purely because it has the least population (though 12 billion is still a big part)

Sperxai

  • mixed population of most species! System has a lot of good places even though it only has 4 orbits
  • Xurauft is a terrible place but people try to live there anyway lmao
  • Alkhera and Aghízan are best G moons of Gelstraxta, but in terms of radiation and such Hhrrym Húnas is the most populous
  • Ferslarze and Maeghyrze are most populated by carbonoids, but have limited Ski'pec presence also
    • Everything past their orbit is Ski'pec only. They are pretty exclusively able to inhabit this part of the system easily so they have it to themselves

Syythauíím

  • Fiaante acts as a kind of tiny Oblivio, unsure how realistic it is light-wise but it IS lava exploding a little
  • Extremely desolate system. the worst, the coldest.
  • no goddamn terraforming effort will work, it's too cold
  • Elhhemor has a lot of dome cities but even thats not too good
  • terrible productivity except cold calculation stuff and observatories on the dark sides of the thin-air world Thúfa

Tryptan

  • oh you KNOW its horrible
  • orbit of Herlacyning is 2.3 MILLION YEARS, its rotation takes about 7 years. not as horrible as previously thought! but thats just SE, i will make its rotation take thousands of years

Unistus

  • most major Ski'pec colony system from Scenth Au'rrat, with both Vaevus and Yurara made into impressively populus worlds
  • Remains the last system to start giving up land to the ToS
  • low-medium hypertryptine, much of it absorbed into star itself
  • Tahtmine:
    • Marslike planet
    • mixed Xherari-Aylathiyan population
  • Vaevus:
    • little warm for Ski'pec but is fine
    • higher gravity than Smohera
    • no moons, no rings, horrifying nighttime probably
  • Yurara:
    • the big center and the big interstellar travel port
    • Nice and cool for Ski'pec but rather dry
    • two major moons Seisev and Koolutus have big ol population centers
    • asteroid moons function as shipyards
