V15396 Sagittarii
Overview
V15396 Sagittarii, also known as RS 8474-918-2-54-166, is a binary star 9807 lightyears from Sol. It is located in the Sagittarius Star Cloud, or M24. It is extremely young, only 220000 years old, and so has a large protoplanetary disk. It was targeted in 2822 for building a Dyson sphere, because of the abundance of useful material surrounding the 2 stars.
Right now, 0.0018% of the Dyson sphere is completed, and since the stars are bright B-types, the Dyson sphere is already getting a considerable amount of energy.
Stars
The two stars in this system are both B-types, one an early B and the other a late B. They weigh around 15.6 solar masses altogether, with A weighing 12.189 solar masses and B weighing 3.4124 solar masses.
Development here is quick due to the sheer amount of materials and energy here. In fact the neighborhood around this star is quite a hotspot for development and expansion, despite its distance from any systems with major civilisations, such as the Sol system.
