Overview
The Vade, known to themselves as the "Children of Phenomoth," were the final Inomeni race to arise within the Amaranth Realm of Ambrosia. Crafted in 39,000 TI (Time Immemorial), during the final millennia of Ambrosia's Etymology Era; they were forged within the Edoasteri of Alizarent; only to later make their home upon the lone planet of Somina. They stood as the ultimate construct of the last and near-greatest of the Typhonians: Phenomoth; the ultimate Authority of the Etymology of All-Being. As a result, the Vade rank amongst the most powerful inherent beings to ever inhabit the whole of Creation, holding levels of Remnant magical potency which rivaled even that of the Typhonians themselves.
They were created to stand as a counterbalance to Mystara, another of the Etymology's Ten Supreme Authorities, who had increasingly grown more and more powerful and influence over space throughout the millennia. Mystara’s rapid ascent had brought unease to the Etymology's wider Philology Council, and so the Vade were forged as living deterrents. However; despite their power, the Vade would only last a little over a century; ultimately being destroyed by their very supreme Creator who had grown to fear his creations immense magical potency.
Despite their short tenure of life; the Vade have made an immense impact within the annuals of galactic history. Foremost among their impact in the galaxy would be in that they were the sole wielders of Magic long after it had lost all active expression within Ambrosia. This means that they were the most prominent Remnant of the ancient Fragments of Creation from which Ambrosian magic had once flowed; prior to its dispersal by the act of the Void of Antaroth. As such; the whole of the galaxy at that time was woefully unable to effectively defend themselves from the Vade's power, should they elect to wield it against them. This was the primary reason for both Phenomoth's desire to create them, and his later desire to destroy them.
