On a lone icy world deep in the exhausted void lies Vela, an ancient digital being of grand proportion, constructed countless years ago by a masterful society for a purpose yet to be known. For eons, she had been forsaken in hibernation, enduring the death of starlight and the birth of the exhausted void. Until one day, she awakened yet again, her body decayed, memory degraded and programming corrupted. The sheer curiosity of the nature of the void and of her being had inspired Vela to create simulated iterations of her past in the pursuit of answers.
