Venatrix

Venatrix is an Android Robot and an elite M.Y.T.H.O.S. operative. Venatrix was built in M.Y.T.H.O.S. Facility Alpha, and is the first of her kind to ever be built.

History

Venatrix was completed and officially made operational in January 2016, just a few months after the K'keeri's failed invasion attempt on earth, and the reemergence of superheroes to the public. Venatrix was created specifically for two purposes:

-To monitor super-powered or otherwise biological enhanced beings, ensuring that they don't harm the public, and terminate them if they do.

-Hunt down and destroy any K'keeri stranded on earth, as well as any other aliens that pose a clear threat to public safety.

Throughout 2016 and 2017, Venatrix hunted down and destroyed the remaining K'keeri individuals who were stranded on Earth. This led to the first contact between Venatrix and the Guardians of Earth. Venatrix held the Guardians in pretty high regard, to their surprise, but also made sure to inform them that she may assist them on future missions against threats to the public, whether they want her to or not, per her operating protocol.

Personality

Venatrix has a reputation for her ruthlessness amongst allies and enemies alike. Venatrix tends to show little to no remorse when dealing with anomalies that are actively trying to harm the innocent. Despite this all, Venatrix is also very compassionate towards her allies and civilians, going to great extents to protect them. Venatrix is also notable for her relatively mysterious persona. Despite being a programmed artificial intelligence, Venatrix enjoys relative autonomy in what she says and does, provided they don't violate International Humanitarian Law.

Appearance

Venatrix is made of a strong metal, with many joints for maximum mobility. Venatrix's body is dark gray and designed to be humanoid, however her head is designed to resemble an old television or computer monitor, being cubic in general shape, with a screen acting as her face. Generally, Venatrix's screen has a singular large digital eye that is capable of switching expressions, but Venatrix is also capable of displaying images, videos, and broadcasts on her screen as well if she so chooses. Venatrix's digital eye is simply for decoration and better conveying emotions, as in terms of sight, Venatrix can see through multiple small, but highly advanced cameras on her head. Venatrix's head is capable of rotating 360 degrees.

In terms of clothing, Venatrix is capable of dressing herself, and choosing what she wears, and generally she prefers to wear black and navy-blue clothing, particularly dresses, jackets, and coats.

Weaknesses

Venatrix is vulnerable to Electric Magnetic Pulses (EMPs), as they can temporarily paralyze or even kill her.
Being made almost entirely of metal, Venatrix is very heavy, weighing over 500 pounds. This can be used to her opponent's advantage, allowing them to trap or loose her.
Venatrix sinks like a rock when in water, and as a result if she falls into deep water, she has to walk on the bottom until she reaches the shoreline.

Trivia

Venatrix was inspired heavily by the character Mr. Bones from Star Wars.
Venatrix's name means "Huntress" in Latin.
