Overview

Voyager I is the furthest probe sent via classic chemical propulsion. It resides in interstellar space, its exact location impossible to pinpoint. Voyager I was launched in the late 20th century to explore the outer planets with Voyager II, making them responsible for much of our knowledge of the Sol system.

In 2755, a team was founded, dedecated to locating Voyager I and II, digging through archives to find their orbital parameters. As of 2985, they have yet to figure out exactily where Voyager I and II are, but they estimate that the Voyagers could be between 4,100au away and 4,400au away, and a RA/Dec between 17h 13m 21.5s/11° 11' 16.9" and 17h 14m 59.0s/12° 13' 12.9". Ships have been deployed to find the Voyagers, but none have succeeded; able to detect signals, but unable to pinpoint them.
