History
he first Zetheilians evolved 1 million years ago in modern day Canada, before spreading throughout North America. Zetheilerius atrox is one of two species in the genus Zetheilerius, the other being Z. progenitorias. Z. atrox is the smaller of the two species and stayed a mostly wild, hunter-gather species while their relatives developed into an advanced civilization.
After the Progenitor-Hominid War, most Zetheilians retreated into the continent's numerous caves, fearing retaliation from the Denisovans or the Progenitor's creations. This allowed Humans to migrate into North America. They stayed underground, only venturing to the surface to collect food. It is during this time of hiding that Zetheilians became incredibly skilled at moving about their environments undetected.

Appearance and Biology
Zetheilians are superficially theropod-like Dinosaurs, they are a member of Thyreophoran clade which includes creatures like Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus.
They are part of a group known as the 'Glossids', which includes creatures such as the Tongue-strangler, Necrorex and Common Tree Dragon. As Glossids, Zetheilians have atrophied, mobile ribcages which serve as the attachment point for their strong and dexterous tongues. To protect their vital organs, they have developed armor made up of thousands of small, interlocking osteoderms, which frees their ribs to become the anchor points for massive tongue muscles.
The Zetheilian tongue has nine tentacle-like tips that that can move independently and with great dexterity. It is their primary method of prey capture and object manipulation.
