The Zheroni are an ancient early type three species of bipedal mammalian humanoid organisms native to planet Forevermore of the Silent Reaches region in the Ambrosia Galaxy that existed from 3,298,000,000 BCE to the present year.

They are most famous for being one the first species to almost face extinction at the hands of the Bastard of Ambrosia, as well as being one of the oldest still thriving species in Ambrosian history, along with being one of the most currently existing technologically capable ones.

Overview

The Zheroni are an extremely famed species due to their standing as one of the longest living intelligent species to ever inhabit the Ambrosia Galaxy, surviving the faithful Red Galaxy Event that would sound the death knell for countless other species thanks to a series of events preceding it.

Long before the wrath of the C.Y.R.E.X befell all of the known Galaxy, the Nox-Eternica, a long reaching death cult led by the infamous Bastard of Ambrosia attempted to exterminate the Zheroni by orbit ally bombarding their home world of Forevermore, which almost ended in success, wiping out more then ninety-nine percent of the species. However fortunately, a small handful of Zheroni were able to escape Armageddon, on board the ship: "Herald of Eternity."

As a result, the Zheroni have been able to congregate themselves across the Silent Reaches region of the galaxy, colonizing several hundreds of thousands of star systems with their amazing technological capabilities, being one of the most proficient species to ever make use of the Thavmimum known as: "Organic Titanium" a synthetic metal thought to be created by the Ones That Came Before as it is only found on worlds known to have housed them in the past.

Another famous aspect of the Zheroni is their prolific use of Psychokinesis, being extremely adept in the skill and often using it in many aspects of daily life. However an unfortunate side affect of their use of Psychokinesis is their extremely short lifespans, only living around forty-eight standard years, due to the massive amounts of physical strain it puts on their bodies. As a result, the short lifespan of the species has become an integral part of their culture, believing that they simply are meant to exist for a limited amount of time. In fact, the word: "Zheroni" also serves as their word for finiteness, or something that is limited.

During the Bastard of Ambrosia's campaign across the Silent Reaches, the conquest of Forevermore would be one of the bloodiest and longest fought battles of the crusade, as the Zheroni were able to put up a stubborn and well fought defense against the far larger and technologically superior Nox-Eternica. However unfortunately, Forevermore would eventually fall, and countless Zheroni would die as a result.

Physical

Baseline Biology

The original baseline physical appearance of the Zheroni before the use of Organic Titanium became common was extremely similar to that of humans and other humanoid species across known space, almost appearing like an exact mirror image to them, as they are along a very similar evolutionary line to that of humans. As a result, they have two arms on the sides of their bodies, and have a bipedal build.

A rather unique trait about them however is their bioluminescence, being able to portray a large array of colors across their skin, hair, and eyes. These colors were used as both a way to attract a mate, as well as portraying emotion, with colors such as hues of red portraying anger, blue to illustrate sadness, and green to show happiness, and so on.

Their skin tone could also take a wide variety of colors, with some more common humanoid skin tones of brown and pale, to more exotic ones such as deep greens, purples, and blues. These skin tones depended on the environment the respective Zheroni was apart of, with those belonging to colder climates taking more muted and less vibrant colors to those who made their home in warmer areas of Forevermore.

Their baseline abilities of sight and sound were also very similar to typical humanoid species, with an average ability to see only around five kilometres away, and a hear range of around five hundred and ninety feet. As a result, the Zheroni originally lacked many advantageous physical traits for survival, making them the bottom of Forvermore's respective food chain for many years.

Their diet consists of the countless species of flora and fauna that are spread across their entire home world, though some individual Zheroni have decided to live on a diet solely consisting of one of the two. They require a massive amount of food to keep themselves sustained, requiring around five thousand calories a day due to their fairly large brains. However since they typically however effective metabolisms, they do not gain weight very easily, requiring hundreds of thousands of calories to equal one pound of fat.

Their respective solvent is fresh water, much alike humans, and thanks to the massive amount of fresh water seas, rivers and lakes on Forvermore, they were able to provide themselves with almost infinite water. Like their required caloric energy, they need a large amount of daily intake of water, typically around thirteen gallons to fully sustain themselves.

Organic Titanium Suits

Now, each and every currently living Zheroni is coated in a large suit of Organic Titanium that is molded directly into their bodies at a very young age. The suit in which they are encased with almost serves as an extension to that of their natural bodies, being able to manipulate and control the metal that comprises it with almost minimal effort thanks to Psychokinesis. As a result, they are often referred to as a pseudo-cyborg species, as their respective suits almost function like that of a typical cybernetic implant.

The Organic Titanium that surrounds their bodies allows an individual Zheroni a massive array of physical capabilities that they would otherwise be unable to do. These abilities depend on the caste the respective Zheroni is apart of, however a few commonalities are shared among all of them.

The first and most notable is the increased physical strength given to each and every Zheroni. With a simple non-caste Organic Titanium suit, an individual Zheroni is able to lift up to ten tons at a time, making each one a physical powerhouse. Along with this, they are also able to have a maximum striking power of around thirty-two thousand pounds per square inch, allowing them to punch through metals as durable as steel.

As well as strength, the suits allow an individual Zheroni to run at incredible speeds, reaching up to sixty-eight kilometres an hour, allowing one to escape a pursuer with relative ease. Along with speed, the hydraulics that are placed within their legs are able to make one leap up to thirty feet in the air with standard gravity, as well as cushioning them when they return to the ground.

Their suits also protect their bodies and internal organs from most any form of external damage, thanks to their extreme durability, requiring around seventy eight thousand pounds per square inch to break its structure. As a result, the Zheroni with their amazing defense capabilities, they are essentially indestructible to any other native life form on Forevermore. On top of that, their suits also prevent damage from most primitive forms of ballistic weaponry, as well as low powered laser and plasma technologies.
