Australis Prime is temperate habitable terra orbiting a young star at the edge of the Namegi Galaxy. It houses the seat of government for this local sector. Template:Ambrosia: World
Geography
Australis Prime is a tropical world. At the equator summer temperatures reach 60 degrees C, whereas there are hardly any polar ice caps. Australis Prime has 2 major continents, a supercontinent named Aurus, and a large sub-continent named Corialis. Oceans on the planet add up to the grand total of 1 - Helios Oceanus.
Aurus
Aurus has many types of land. At it's very heart, lies the geographical south pole of the planet, and is mainly dominated by small trees and bushes. Lichen grows in abundance here. Towards the coast, there are tropical beaches and lakes, reaching temperatures of over 40 degrees C in summer. This is were most Mulihians are found, albeit many kilometres below the surface. In places, the continent rises into the northern hemisphere, which is mostly dominated by Helios Oceanus. If standing directly below the rings on a clear night, one will always see meteor showers, due to a phenomenon called "ring rain." Often, ring rain renders the equator mountainous, and uninhabitable, but the rings of Australis are made of fine grains of rock, which rarely hit the ground. Even so, it is not advised to be here.
Corialis
Corialis is a small continent near the north pole of the planet. It is mainly dominated by grasslands and rainforests, and is scarcely inhabited. Around the East coast lies a mountains range, which protects the heart of the continent from rain, forming the only desert on the entire planet. Very little amounts of life may be found in central Corialis.
Helios Oceanus
Helios Oceanus is a very large ocean that covers almost the entire northern hemisphere. It ranges from boiling to moderately cold, and hosts 80% of the entire biosphere of the planet. Wherever you are in the ocean, the seas will be filled with all sorts of amazing creatures. Many floating research laboratories have been set up in this sea, to study all manner of living things in this ocean. Less that 5% of all life in the oceans have been discovered, by last estimate.
Climate
The climate of the planet ranges from almost freezing to almost boiling. Most life can be found in the sweet spot between the two, although it has been known for entire ecosystems to be found at the extremes. Clouds cover the equator at times and produce vicious storms there. These often rip up trees, blow down houses and generally make a huge fuss.
History
Pre-HIstory
Presumably Australis Prime formed some 3 billion years ago, far from it's star, and then drifted in. This melted the ice on it's surface, creating warm oceans of water. As it got closer, it's only moon came closer to it and eventually passed inside it's Roche Limit, being torn apart into Australis' beautiful rings. Life evolved around this time, and it wasted no time. Within a hundred million years, life had dominated the planet. Nothing much happened for the next billion years or so.
Modern History
Australis Prime was first discovered in 76 992. It remained a uncolonized habitable planet in the backwaters of the galaxy. Then, when Ximnola was discovered in 87 922, it was colonised as a research facility to study the anomalous planet from a distance. It was then that a joint Human-Zythn team stumbled upon the entrance to a Mulihian den. A Mulihian found them, and ate them, presumably mistaking them for food. It then died from carbon poisoning, as Mulihians are silicon-based. Another scout party went looking for the first, and eventually stumbled upon the dead body of the first Mulihian . They then reported this, and began first contact, and the beginnings of the Theocratic Monarchy we see today. Their threefold joint culture developed over the next 20 308 years, until we have what we have today.
Population
The population of Australis Prime is quite large, due to the three-dimensional cities that the Mulihians have.

Flora and Fauna
Many million of life forms live on Australis Prime, ranging from the tiny parasite Tulliamonter Yusligh, which is the size of just a few million atoms, to the gigantic Losthuliamonter Jumneri, which is over a kilometre long and has a geological life span. The most notable include:
Lithonim Xuliamonder
Lithonim Xuliamonder is a large whale-like creature that rests kilometres down under the surface. Over the course of it's life it excretes a corrosive acid which hollows a large cavern out for it.
Reproduction
The Lithonim Xuliamonder does not reproduce sexually, but through a new way unknown to any species before. When it dies, it's body lies there for a few years until it decays. A small sexual organ situated in it's belly now activates, (knowing through contact with the air) releasing a sperm and egg. These grow inside of the organ, which can swell up to 20x it's original size, until it bursts, with a new Lithonim Xuliamonder sitting in the body of it's parent.
Life Cycle
The Lithonim Xuliamonder grows inside of the sexual organ of it's parent for over a decade until it is ready. It then bursts the organ, and sits on the ground. At this time it looks like a misshapen heap of flesh on the ground, and over the course of a few months prominent limbs start to emerge. The head and the tails. The Lithonim Xuliamonder has two tails, each to prod inside of the cavern walls to hold it steady. After a few hundred years, it undergoes another change, with which it fully matures. It's skin hardens to diamond-strength, and the tails are imbedded for life.
Ollomust Virungus
Ollomust Virungus is a avian creature that is aerial and aquatic. It mainly lives in the air, but makes it's nests at the bottom of the Helios Oceanus.
Reproduction
Ollomust Virungus reproduces sexually, having elaborate mating dances that can incorporate over 50 Ollomust VirungusI. These dances take place in the air and in the ocean. They do not have the normal Male-Female system, however, they incorporate of 100 documented sexes. Each sex comes from a slightly different area of the planet. Sexes are constantly dying out, and being replaced by new ones.
Life Cycle
Ollomust Virungus are hatched out of eggs at the start of every Australisian Year. They are swim up to the surface, where they form cocoons, hanging from their parents wings. They then hatch out, and learn to fly. They reach sexual maturity at age 10.
Kolminig Cervolik
Kolminig Cervolik is a land animal tripod that eats plants. It produces live young, and so is classified as a mammal.
Reproduction
Kolminig Cervolik reproduce sexually, with two distinct genders, Male and Female. In this species, the Male reproduces by inputting a egg into the Female, which produces this species equivalent of sperm. After a few weeks, the then fertilised egg is put back inside the Male. The Male then gives birth through it's stomach.
Life Cycle
Newborn Kolminig Cervolik usually have trouble walking, until helped by the Male. The Female does not usually stay with the family group, and goes off to live it's life, often impregnating more Males along the way. This way they diversify the gene pool. The now 1-year-old Kolminig Cervolik grows quickly. It reaches sexual maturity young, around 2, but stay with the family group until around 6. They then wander off into the savannah of Corialis.
Ring Wraiths
Template:!Species Infobox The Ring Wraiths are a type of silicon-based life forms. They are not intelligent, but are quite dangerous if they mistake your ship for food.
Biology
The Ring Wraiths are shark-like creatures that grow up to 3 kilometres in length. They roam the system, eating ice asteroids and digesting the carbon from them, excreting fine silicate and water. They originally evolved in the Australisian Rings, which were made of rock-ice and were quite lumpy, and have since removed all large objects, excreting dust behind them. Almost all of them have migrated to other places in the star system, such as gas giant rings and the Oort Cloud.
It is a mystery to how they evolved in the first place, and why no carcasses of them have been found, ever.
History
The Ring Wraiths were accidentally discovered when one (Nicknamed "Jaws") ate a early survey ship. Luckily, it was not crewed and gained valuable information. Efforts were made to investigate them, but almost no information was gained. They then constructed a megastructure (nicknamed "The Ring Wraith Shepherds"), which herded the Ring Wraiths, and gained information on them. Very little happened to them.
Habitat
The Ring Wraiths live in circumplanetary rings and Asteroid belts. More often than not, you will find them in dense circumplanetary rings. They eat the silicates and hydrocarbons in the rocks.

Xuliano Sector Financial Banking (more commonly abbreviated to XSFB) is a megacorporation that controls 3 planets farther out from Australis Prime. It was founded in 91 673 as a small company, named Southern City Banking. It helped the inhabitants of it's area bank, but it was so wildly popular (Due to it being the only bank for Light-Years around), that it rebranded to Australis Banking. It grew in power and money until it rebranded again, to Xuliano Sector Financial Banking. It has outposts on all major and minor planets within 1000 Light Years of Australis Prime. In 97 833 It bought 3 frozen planets at the edges of the Australis System, and is currently Terraforming them. These planets will then host all offices and administration for the company, becoming a corporate colony world. Once this is done, it plans on rebranding again to Namegi Galaxy Financial Banking. It is brings in hundreds of quintillions of C-Units every year.

The Ring Wraith Shepherds are a specialised megastructure specifically designed for the Ring Wraiths. The are hundreds of them roaming around in the system, tending to the Ring Wraiths, feeding them, studying them, and generally being slaves to them. They were built because the Ring Wraiths looked like they were going extinct.
Wormhole Connection Station
The Australis Wormhole connects the Australis System to the rest of the galaxy. It is the only FTL way of getting anywhere else in the galaxy from the Australis System. It was completed in 94 622.

Olminist is a artificial moon, constructed in 91 677 for the excess population of Mulihians that lived on Australis Prime. The planet was rapidly running out of room for the billions of Mulihians to burrow around inside. If they hadn't been immigrated off-world, then the planet would likely have collapsed on itself due to the structural instability inside.
