After failing to contact them, the colonists merely settled down in an area of the galaxy sparsely populated by these probes and did their best to ignore them. |

The military of the LaC would have intervened to allow the colonists escape were it not for the looming war of the Decamillennial Transition. Diverting resources to fight a potentially galactic spanning civilizations was not worth it. They needed every ship they could get to remain on standby in the event of a war. |
