Mysterious Appearances of Ghostly Sisters
They go by many names, and mostly named by the locals around them.

They have the ability to alleviate the plague, but each time causes them to be infected and unfortunately many of them would die doing it

Whether or not they have truly existed will forever remain a mystery, but they appear in multiple cultures, referencing them one way or another.

March of the Failed Priestess
As the plague envelopes the land and threatens the existence of the Yera empire (Yarnek Empire centuries ago), hope seems lost until her mysterious arrival, curing the plague miraculously, earning her her own sash woven by the Yeran people.

I Beg of You
The sister that failed.

A Yeran Imperial Officer begs the priestess to cure his significant other's plague but to no avail. She has failed and was slowly succumbing to the illness.

She could only cure so many before dying herself.

She Has Died
A painting of a White Priestess, she has cured her final person, walked away so others would not see her pass as she succumbs to the plague she's meant to fight. Found in a ruin of what used to be someone's home. She has failed, and now the north of the continent will forever be plunged in unforgivable winter, much like her land of origin.

A Priestess' Solitude
A lone White Priestess stands before a hanging tree.

White Priestess Guardians
A White Priestess found on the Northwest of Yarnayek is protected by two attendants of the king of Kaxorova (modern day Flaria) which are highly trained royal maidens that are called Guardezistara.

Birth of a White Priestess
White Priestess' Bestowed Purpose.

Guard the Cleric!
Two Guardezistaras stand ready to defend the White Priestess against these assailants: the Plague-walkers.

The Sister that Doubts
After witnessing an unjust murder of her sister, she began to question their very nature and purpose in this world. The only ones who can cure everyone and save the world; why them? Regardless, in her one final effort, she managed to alleviate most of the northern Andayat continent before dying from severe corruption.

A Last Stand
A heavily armored guard stands ready to defend the White Priestess.

Different Stages of White Priestess Corruption
All White Priestesses are the same but not all are created equal Some White Priestesses succumb to death at the tainted stage, some survives even being fully corrupted
Normal.

Tainted.

Corrupted.

Fully Corrupted.

The Corrupted Sister
A fully corrupted White Priestess who was strong enough to survive being fully corrupted now cries blood and spread diseases while still fully retaining her awareness and personality She lived, but not for long...
The corrupted ones no longer emit light and cure, but catalysts of darkness and the very plague they are trying to heal.

Euthanasia
The White Priestess may have healed her, but her sickness has taken so much of her that the best decision was to end her suffering.

Her First Embrace
The village's warriors were all eradicated right in front of her eyes. Miraculously, she escaped and fled back to the village when a woman who tends to her welcomed her with an embrace and great worry. The first sister to ever feel embrace.

"Rest Well, My Sister
Your duty fulfilled, burdened no longer by the sins of our ancestors. Your sacrifice will bring life back to our homeland. Rest easy for it is now my turn. Beyond the Great Fog, I shall venture until I could no more."

Aureole
In the land of frost and plague, they will bring warmth and cure.

You Are Sacrifice
How obedient, now offer your lives for the world, bow to the will of the crown!

Born From Ice, They Will Never See The Sun
With as many White Priestesses gathered to their homeland where the catastrophe was strongest, they all laid their lives to push back the Great Fog as much as they could so that the sun would pierce through the clouds and touch the frosted ground once more, bringing life back through the land. Despite not alleviating the entire continent of the Great Fog, they at least proved that humanity can fight back. Succumbing to the corruption, they never got to see their small victory realized.

White Priestess' Coronation
You shall fight and die for a war that will be forgotten, and your existence be reduced to a fairytale. Behold! The Crown of Damnation!

The Final Priestess
Awoken to a new world, and with the memories of old, she will find purpose in a world that no longer needs her, and the cause long have been fought for.

The Sister That Bloomed Last
Awoken to a new world, and with the memories of old, she will find purpose in a world that no longer needs her, and the cause long have been fought for.

Touch of a Crown
Why do you still continue in a world that doesn't need you anymore?

The Crown's Memories
The Last White Priestess gaining the memories of her past sisters all those centuries ago.

Walk the Halls of the Future People
Corpses of strange people wearing strange clothes litter the halls of her ancestors' ruins.

Repent.
The Young Priest, predecessor of the White Priestesses' mummified corpse stands to remind all to weep and repent even after his untimely death.
