The Mid Arm was fully formed around twenty-two million years after the formation of the Ambrosia Galactic Center, when many stars were created after a gigantic cloud of dust and gas was emitted from the super massive black hole.

=== Havenite Era 3,829,000 BCE to 1,474,000 BCE ===
Due to it being the galactic location where the home planet of the planet [[Haven]] was located, it was the first galactic arm to be colonized by the Havenites. The Havenites colonized all 50 billion star systems of the Mid Arm, living in a symbiotic relationship with the other intelligent species of the galactic arm.

Due to [[Haven]] being named the galactic capital of the Republic, the Mid Arm was the most important, and populace galactic arm of their government. Due to this the planets inside of the Mid Arm were the most luxurious planets within the Havenite Republic. The people who resided in the Mid Arm developed a sense of superiority over the other inhabited galactic arm, the Lycurgus Arm.

Because of this, the relationship between the Mid Arm and the other arm was very tense. During the war between the Nagala Empire and the Havenite Republic the majority of the fighting was held in the Mid Arm. This ultimately culminated in the battle of planet Haven, leading to the Havenites crushing defeat in 1,474,000 BCE. After the battle of Haven. the Mid Arm fell under the control of the Nagala Empire, Afterwards the galactic arm lost it's status of galactic capital, being replaced by the Aeschylus Arm.

After the Mid Arm lost it's status as the galactic capital, it lost a majority of it's funding. Because of this the planets of the Mid Arm lost many of their luxurious cities, and their resources. Tensions between the Mid Arm, and the rest of the Nagala Empire was very high leading to several rebellions within different planets in the galactic arm. After these unsuccessful rebellions the galactic arm's governing was much more strict to insure that more such rebellions do not arise.

After the Nagala's downfall at the hands of their hyper intelligent AI computer system hive mind, the Cyrex. The Cyrex conquered most of the galactic arm. After this the galactic arm was mostly ignored by the Cyrex Empire, believing that their primary mission there was done.

=== Human Alliance Era 10265 CE to 10465 CE ===
Almost the entirety of the [[Human Alliance of Ambrosia|Human Alliance]] era happened within the Mid Arm's borders. Being the area where the Human Alliance was founded that should come as no shock. when the [[Humans|human]] colonists of the ''Galactic Traveler'' landed on the former capital planet [[Haven]].
The human colonists separated due to several disagreements on what the colonists should focus on, wither or not to spread out to different systems right away, or focus on planet Haven before anything else. This lead to the Colony Wars between the divergent colonies across the planet's surface in 10270 CE.

After the end of the Colony Wars in 10278 CE the moon of [[Haven]], Hearth was being colonized by the newly formed Human Alliance. For the next one hundred and fifty two years the Human Alliance colonized up to one hundred star systems until the faction of the True Alliance of Man formed in the Dralora system on the planet of Talora, leading to the Alliance Wars in 10417 CE.
