Description

The Xa'Thin Commonwealth is a vast nation that currently rules through much of the known multiverse. As a result of its vast size, it contains millions of states, which are in turn contained by bigger states, and those states contained by bigger ones, and so on. The Xa'Thin Commonwealth's state system can be easily explained by using the simple list below.

States

State Magnitude I

5 Humongous Governing States where their rulers are in the highest seats of Xa'Thin Parliament. The rulers go under 300-year terms, with 3000 years being the maximum amount of time someone can be in office.

State Magnitude II

526 Large States that have major influence over Xa'Thin Parliament. These are controlled mostly by the Governing States. The have elections every 60 years, and have a term limit of 600 years.

State Magnitude III

52,621 Regular States that function primarily on themselves. Their petitions and requests are checked by the Large States. The rulers of the Regular States have 10 year terms, with 100 years being the limit.

State Magnitude IV

526,219,184 Tiny states that control 166 Galaxies each are at the lowest on the totem pole. The rulers of these also have 10 year terms, but they can only rule for their term. This is used to renew the cycle of leaders, and to make a sort of gradient on what the citizens want at the moment.

Ideas for even tinier states (Controlling 1 Galaxy, or sub-galactic levels) have been discussed with through Xa'Thin Parliament, but it has been decided that it would take up too much time, resources, and would be even more of a pain to handle.
