Colonized Space
Out of the three galactic regions, Colonized Space is by far the one with the richest history and the largest population. At a population of 1.78 sextillion non-virchoid sapients, it boasts almost the entirety of all of the Milky Way's inhabitants. It is defined as being the region of space where exactly 80% of star systems are colonized, which by official definition means that they have a population exceeding 1,000,000. Colonized Space is always expanding as the solspawn population moves outwards, and has been over 20,000 light years in diameter since the late 66th century - now spanning 24,000 light years. Covering a sizeable area, Colonized Space is home to boundless different systems and planets that have played a major part in solspawn history, most notably including the homeworld of all solspawn - Earth. In addition, Colonized Space is itself divided into 8 radially symmetrical subregions centered around the sol system that expand as Colonized Space does.
