Kite Comics is a world-building project following the lives of multiple super-powered people. Taking heavy inspiration from the high-flying heroes and villains of Marvel, DC, and Invincible, this verse is the culmination of our love for comics, art, and characters for the past 7 years. Overview

Kite Comics' stories all take place in a world similar to ours, only difference being the presence of powered people. There are two ways that a person could develop powers. They're either born with powers by being a descendant of a person with the gift already, or a strong emotion brings forth said powers. The idea of a 'superhero' is as old as humanity, tales of god-like beings swooping in and saving their people from another tribe, or a natural disaster. The phrase didn't get popularized, however, until the 1950's, when the Round Table started saving lives wherever they could. This sparked a cultural revolution, where the idea of saving lives, being loved by millions of adoring people, was -and still is- the dream of every person on the planet.

Collaboration

With stories and comics taking place in the verse still underway, collaborations are currently discouraged. However, if you would like to show me your ideas and I think they're really cool, I could definitely change my mind.
