EmpiricalEmpiricalDiremption:

Solar Harmony is a long-standing worldbuilding project that has been continuously worked on over the past two years by User: Pan Tastic. The setting has a heavy dose of spec evo, and inventive and unique alien designs. Solarpunk themes and aesthetics are an integral part of the scope. Since this setting is based around the genre Solarpunk, it has themes surrounding environmentalism, the destruction of corporatism and prejudice, and the establishment of a truly equal society where all people can thrive.

Scope Overview:

This scope takes place 450 years in the future of our world, and is a strictly sci-fi setting. Solar Harmony aims to bring a healthy blend of hard and soft sci-fi to the table, mixing speculative evolution, grounded celestial bodies, and more believable technology, with FTL travel and entangled satellites for long-distance communication. A major inspiration for this scope was seeing the prominence of dystopian media in pop culture, and a desire to write something hopeful. I wanted to look at a worldbuilding project and find a place where I would love to live rather than another dystopian hellscape too close to life.

Collaboration:

As of right now, collaboration is closed due to the lack of fundamental articles that establish the setting and tone of the series. Once further articles are written and published, collaboration will become open to a degree. Due to the semi-hard sci-fi genre and tight adherence to the Solarpunk subgenre, collaboration must fall within acceptable bounds for the setting. New sapient alien species are not available to be added at this time, as the low number of sapient species adds to the fact that the majority of the galaxy has not yet been explored. The addition of new solar systems, settlements, cultures, and religions will be more than welcome, as any interstellar civilization will have an unimaginable level of variety and places to visit. If you have any idea that you are unsure of, please contact Pan Tastic via the Amaranth Legacy Discord or via other community channels.

Earth is the third planet of the star Sol, and the homeworld of Humanity. As such, its primary inhabitants are Humans, and the species holds the planet in a very high regard. It is one of the eight Capitol planets of the Civilized Collective, and as such its Human leaders act as the primary representatives of their species on the Civilized Collective High Council. It is the celestial body housing the most Humans, as of 2475 having a population of roughly 10.5 billion. Earth has a single moon, Luna, which is also heavily inhabited by humans. Besides being the homeworld for one of the eight species of the Civilized Collective, Earth is also notable for being the planet with the most rewilding programs performed in recorded history.

Like the other homeworlds of sapient species, Earth is an incredibly prominent piece of Human culture across the stars. It is an incredibly popular religious and tourist destination as a result, with almost every human to ever live making a pilgrimage or vacation to the pale blue dot that they originated from.
