Aya is a recently settled binary system in the outer reaches of Midonia's Nebulon region. It is made up of Ayatar and Ayamar, a close pair of young white-blue main-sequence stars. Three planets orbit the pair: Syres, Sirona, and Luia. By the present day, roughly seven hundred thousand people inhabit Aya, largely concentrated around the system's second planet. Apollo, a captured asteroid in orbit of said planet, is the considered to be the heart of power in the system.
For the past two decades, Orbital Intergalactic has spearheaded Aya's development, having acquired said rights following the discovery of a previously obscured connection to Arwall Maba.

Description
Luia is the last planet encircling the suns of Aya, its distance lending to a subzero climate. Deep, briny oceans of ammonia envelop the planet, broken up by vast glacial landmasses, giving rise to desolate ice sheets, spectacular archipelagos, and massive ice shelves. Only one research outpost has been established on Luia, Sellis Station, having met a deadly end at the hands of a vast storm.
