Overview

Template:Species TemplateXa'Thins are a bipedal reptilian race whom live on the planet Lokira. The possess mostly-white skin, with tentacles growing from their heads, and have a strange mouth, perhaps used for picking. Their clothing is made of fine silk, and has distinct patters conveying the entanglement they have on psionics.

Currently, the Xa'Thins claim much control over M110, and partial control of M32, Andromeda, and the Milky Way. Xa'Thins are also very pacifistic in nature, and pose no threat to anybody.

Old Speakers

Old Speakers are a minor group of Xa'Thins who'd rather speak in an English-Latin mix instead of the new language, which includes lots of apostrophes and strange pronunciations.

Notes and Beliefs

I:

Though the Xa'Thins are very powerful, they have no terraformed worlds in their system. This is because they believe that every planet in their system is believed to be "Holy", and even making them bear life would ruin their natural presence.

II:

Shockingly, the Xa'Thins believe in God at a majority (92.6%). They do because not only did they have no religion prior, but also because it just stuck to their minds, that there is a creator out there. But, there are some Xa'Thin theories that a Type Omega Civilization could have created the universe they are in.

III:

Xa'Thins believe that any "Unholy" worlds should be purged of almost all lifeforms. This includes worlds that are infested by parasitic plants, or an invasive species. (Seiya) These Purged Worlds are left alone with minimal life to regrow.

IV:

Xa'Thins believe that it is their purpose to grow, and spread their peaceful ways across the local group and beyond. Though, only a few souls can manage without wanting to go home.

V:

Xa'Thins confine themselves to their home because of profound homesickness found in extra-galactic travelers. Even with pictures and holograhic interactive systems, they wont last a year or two outside of their home. This results in a small empire, packed with power.

VI:

Belief VI states that Old Speaker population mustn't exceed 1 billion. This is to make sure a "Primitive Language doesn't corrupt our new, elegant language." - Congressman Fre'Asa.

History

History - Writing to Bronze Era

The Xa'Thins started their history at roughly -51,100 BCE, giving then a head start to their galaxy, M110.

After the invention of writing, The Bronze age, and the Iron Age sweeped quickly, giving some strange ideas, like a Perpetual Motion Machine made of rubber, or a sword with 5 edges. After all of that, came the Gamite Industrial Era.

History - Gamite Industrial Era (50850 BCE - 50140 BCE)

Gamite played a big role in the Xa'Thins exponential growth. Gamite is known to be very reactive, lightweight, and is one of the best conductors of electricity. Countless blueprints of machines were created. Such as jewelry that would spark, or gamite studded knuckels that would shock an enemy. Because of this, they rapidly progressed from the Bronze Age to the Industrial Age in the matter of 7 centuries. Eventually, they reached their Space Age at 50740 BCE.

History - Space Era (5140 BCE - 50995 BCE)

The Xa'Thin Space Era (or XSE for short) is the most exponential and impactful part in their history. When they reached the XSE, Lokira was already under only a few banners. The most notable ones were The Commonwealth of Xa'Thin-kind, and the Fra'sas Democracy. These countries, in the end, were the only banners on Lokira by 414 XE. Naturally, a space race happened. This space race is the reason why the XSE was impactful. Races for mass-colonization of many objects. Such as Voda, Keloda, Terna, and Sohn. Eventually, racing stopped after tensions rose too high. After that, both countries decided it was best to unite under one common banner at 50995 BCE.

History - The Dark Ages (50995 BCE - 48787 BCE)

Not much is known about the Dark Ages. It, just, began. After the XSE, there it came. Barely any innovation had happened for almost a couple millennia. After being feared that adjacent empires would dominate the Xa'Thins, Former Leader Yohau decided to form the Xa'Thin Galactic Utopia. The decision swept over congress and the house, as nearly everyone wanted their empire to be strong again.

History - The New Age (48787 XE - 48684 BCE)

The New Age is considered the most exponential, and the most prosperous age in all of Xa'Thin History. There was so much tech discovered, that many companies and devices had failed to keep up. This development is responsible for many major events in Xa'Thin history. Such as The Enlightenment, and The March.

One day, Xa'Thin leaders, and a few "Chosen Ones" had heard whispers and voices coming from nowhere, resulting in a confusion, a need, and then a new drive. A drive to find the source of these voices, being heard across the empire.

History - The Shorud Era (48684 BCE - 2374 CE)

The Shroud Era was one of the most influential eras in Xa'Thin history. The Shroud Era is also the longest Era, lasting until 2347 CE. The Shroud Era started with only a few whispers, until one night, (April 5th, 48684 BCE) a Chosen One had built a machine to telepathically communicate with the whispers. Thus, Psionics was born.

Psionics, as of 100,000 CE, are apart of regular Xa'Thin lives. Your regular megalopolis may be at 65 dB as a result of telepathic communication.

Eventually, in the coming years, Xa'Thins began to master Psionics, and began to contact with whatever the whispers came from. This has since been named "The Shroud". Only master telepaths can contact The Shroud on a regular basis, and leaders can request boons and gifts every year or so.

Sometimes, it could go wrong, and a curse would be bestowed on the population. Some of these have sprawled the Great Lokiran Strike, which almost every employee wanted a raise, and went on strike. This was in effect from May 23rd of 1238 CE to July 7th of 1238 CE. It caused a stagnant pulse which was felt for decades.

History - The First Incursion (2374 CE - 2510 CE)
